Sharon Robinson, daughter of the legendary Jackie Robinson made several stops in Houston last week as part of her father's commemorative 60th anniversary tour around ballparks in the major leagues.

In many ways, George Webster helped change the game on both the college and professional level. A native of South Carolina, Webster along with Bubba Smith helped establish Michigan State as one of college football's greatest defensive teams in the 1960's.
Dotson Foundation Celebrates 10th Anniversary

Dotson, a former NFL star with the Buccaneers and Packers, has given his time and money over the last decade to a cause that is close to his heart. He feels that a college education should be attainable to any child that has the desire for a better chance in life.

Mo Cheeks is the right man because he's got the right temperament for the young talent he oversees. The players have proven they will play for him. Above all else, there is an upside, because he's only getting better.
Does Boxing Need A New Business Model?

Boxing's business model belongs in the early 20th century, if not the 19th century. Contrast the boxing business model, such as it is, to the Mixed Martial Arts. Mixed Martial Arts are beginning to experiment with new models that will ensure Mixed Martial arts survival and the continued decline of boxing.
