With a win in the three-point contest, you think Cummings would have been content—but no.  He decided to hit the game-winning buzzer-beater during the Superstars’ game.  “When I got the ball at the top of the key, I faked and went in, and then out.  I knew it was going in as soon as it left my hands,” Cummings told Black Athlete.

He’s got the heart and the smarts.  “I feel if you step on the court with me, you’re taking food out of my mouth.  You’re trying to disrespect me.”  That audacious quote came from a young man known in some circles as the Day After Tomorrow.  But, is gov’t name is Lonnell (that’s two N’s and two L’s thank you) Jones, and you can tell him apart from everyone by his Brooklyn swagger.

The Almighty Force Basketball Tournament has the best streetball refs in the game.  Not only do they know the game, they love the game and respect the game.  When they ref, they do so with a higher calling.  They’re on a mission to protect the integrity of the game.
