NORTH CAROLINA (BASN) -- Business professor Aaron Levenstein once said, "Statistics are like bikinis. What they reveal is suggestive, but what they conceal is vital. " A s a result, t oday in the "Endzone," we check out some very interesting numbers in the NFL and NBA.

1. Michael Vick ran for his first touchdown and threw his first touchdown pass since September 17, 2006 during his highly anticipated “homecoming” game against the Atlanta Falcons Sunday in which the Eagles won 34-7.

2. The New England Patriots are 1-5 on the road this season. This is simply unpatriotic.

3. Tampa Bay Buccaneers QB Josh Freeman threw five interceptions  in a losing effort (16-6) against the Carolina Panthers (16-6). Carolina quarterback Jake Delhomme must have felt good because he didn’t play due to a broken finger on his right hand. By the way, Jake has thrown 18 picks this season so far.

4. The San Diego Chargers have won seven straight games and are in charge of the AFC West. Their wins came against the Raiders, Browns, Chiefs (twice), Broncos, Eagles, and Giants.

6. The Colts' Jim Caldwell, who has won his first 12 games as a rookie head coach, broke a 48- year-old NFL record for wins once held by Wally Lemm, who started his coaching career 10-0 with the 1961 Houston Oilers.

7. The New Orleans Saints have won a franchise-record 13 games .

8..Entering their Thursday night matchup, the Cleveland Browns have lost  17 of 18 meetings  against the Pittsburgh Steelers.

9. Minnesota's Adrian Peterson had only 19 yards on 13 carries against the Arizona Cardinals in the Vikings' 30-17 loss this past Sunday night.

10. The Indianapolis Colts have won 21 consectuive regular season games which currently ties them with the 2006-08 New England Patriots.
