Once again, the Boston Celtics dominated every facet of the game at home en route to a 99-65 Game Seven rout over the Atlanta Hawks.  In a series that had more than a few physical, verbal, and nonverbal confrontations, the Celtics finally disposed of the Hawks four games to three in the opening round of the Eastern Conference playoffs.

“This is playoff basketball,” said Ray Allen after Game Five of the Eastern Conference playoffs.  Allen finished Game Five with 19 points, including three three-pointers in the third quarter. “This is what makes it part of the fun, knowing that we have to turn back around. They have a hostile building down there.”
