New York picked eighth overall and took Arizona big man, Jordan Hill, the 6-foot-10 thoroughbred with a jump shot and shot blocking ability. He has a skill that was sorely lacking with the Knicks last season.

By NBA rules, no team can contribute more than $550,000 (55% of a milly) towards buying any player out of his current contract. That means every peso of Rubio’s potential NBA contract would have to go towards his Spanish basketball club for the buyout.

One does his work on the inside and the other has sonar range from the outside. One is in college and has his daddy’s NBA genes and seems to love basketball. The other owns several pair of loose fitting blue jeans and basketball seems to be merely, ‘something to do’ to pass time away.
