CBS College Sports and Conference USA announced that the 32nd annual battle for the Bayou Bucket will be seen by viewers across the country. Both Rice and Houston are in a three-way tie at 5-1 with Tulsa in the C-USA West Division.

Time has come to disband, demolish, destroy, and dismantle the BCS, mainly because the committee has consistently distorted the truth about winning the Division One Championship.

The study also includes head football coaches, offensive and defensive coordinators, assistant coaches, and football student-athletes.
Eight Cougars Grab Mid-Season Awards

Eight University of Houston Cougars football players were selected to the Phil Steele's 2008 Mid-Season All-Conference USA teams. Senior tight end Mark Hafner and senior defensive end Phillip Hunt were named to the First Team while six other Cougars were named to the Third team.
