CONNECTICUT (BASN) -- Here are my top five contenders for this year's Heisman Trophy after last weekend's games.

1. RB Mark Ingram, Alabama: He has all the tools including great speed. Alabama might play for the National Championship and he will be the reason.

2. QB Tim Tebow, Florida: He has won the Heisman once before, but is having a great senior season for another team that could play for all the marbles in January.

3. QB Jimmy Clausen, Notre Dame: The Irish are back and he is the reason. Finally.

4. DB Eric Berry, Tennessee: He is the best in the country at his position.

5. RB Dion Lewis, Pittsburgh: The Panthers can still win the Big East and Lewis would be the reason.
