Will Ford rushed for 161 yards and a touchdown to lead South Carolina State to a victory over host North Carolina A&T on Saturday. Ford captured the MEAC rushing title with 1,482 yards this season, and the Bulldogs (10-2, 8-0) finished the regular season with three consecutive shutouts.

Jeffrey Cargile of Morehouse College was named Defensive Player of the Year en route to leading the NCAA in tackles for a loss and sacks. Both Atkinson and Cargile took home first team honors.
